Hi, my name is Hanna Wosenu. I hope you can learn a little bit about me through this website!
Basic Information
I am a 16 year old rising junior at Wheaton High School. I have lived in Silver Spring my whole life but I was born in Washington, DC. I have one sister who is one year older than me so we are pretty close. My favorite color is lavender, my favorite food is chicken alfredo and my favorite chocolate is snickers.
School Life
Throughout my freshman and sophmore year, I did indoor and outdoor track. I am involved in clubs as well. Some of these clubs include Girls Who Code, East African Student Association, National Honors Society, Society of Women Engineers and I am planning on joining much more during this upcoming school year. I was also elected as Class of '22 SGA President for the 2020-2021 school year. I have been working on SGA planning all summer and my main goals are to interact with my classmates through our class Instagram page, focus on the mental health of students and keep students updated about current events. Besides that, I am very focused in my classes and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.
Hobbies
School tends to take up most of my time so I don't really have a single hobby that I love the most or am really good at. Some of my hobbies are: running/working out, reading, making friendship bracelets, and biking.
